Silian Rail is Robin (guitar) and Eric (drums, glockenspiel). They play instrumental music which combines richly complex, open-tuning, finger picked guitar playing with aggressive, intricate drumming. They do a sort of Led Zepplin-meets-My Bloody Valentine thing by stretching out blues rock riffs with lots of sustain and texture to give them a dreamy pretty quality, while keeping a rhythmic and melodic edge that they use to ratchet up the intensity of their songs. (Wiretap)
let us just say that i attended an architecture in helsinki concert in eugene with a costume inspired by this video. definitely deserving artistical fortitude.
